At Your Pay Your Way, we believe no one should be made to feel like their past or their postcode defines their future. That’s why our social enterprise sessions are designed to meet people where they’re at, offering practical tools, straight talking support, and a way forward that puts control back in to communities' hands.

Across communities in Scotland, we’ve seen firsthand the power of social enterprise. It's a chance for people to use what they've experienced as a strength. And it works for everyone, whether they've been out of work for years, have a criminal record, or simply want to try something new. We help them develop ideas that not only make money but make a difference too.

Each programme we run is shaped by the people in the room. We don’t roll out cookie cutter content or drown you in jargon. Instead, we create space for ideas to grow. We could be creating a mobile hair service for people with mobility challenges, a catering business that gives back, or a second-hand fashion brand that tackles waste and unemployment in one go. We build confidence, demystify the financial side, and support people to figure out if running a social enterprise could be right for them.

We know that real change doesn’t happen in a day. That’s why we focus on long term impact, not quick fixes. Our sessions build skills you can use right away like budgeting, business planning, and pitching, but they also start bigger conversations about what we value in our communities and who gets to lead.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’ve got an idea, but I wouldn’t know where to start” then you’re exactly who these sessions are for. You don’t need a degree, a perfect CV or a telephone voice to start a social enterprise. You just need an open mind, a bit of support, and a willingness to give it a go.

Want to bring Your Pay Your Way to your community? Get in touch,

we’d love to hear from you.
